Ingredients
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup molasses
- 3 - eggs
- 2.5 cups bananas, over-ripe and mashed
- 2.75 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
How To Make banana chocolate cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350.

Step 2Cream together the butter and sugar in a mixer; add to the molasses and mix until combined.

Step 3Add the eggs, then mix in the bananas; mix in the flour, baking soda, salt and extract until smooth, then fold in the chocolate chips.

Step 4Place the batter in a buttered and floured 9-inch springform mold; bake for about 1 hour.

Step 5Let the cake cool on a rack, cut it in half to form 2 layers, frost with your favorite chocolate frosting and serve.
