2/3 cshortening

1-3/4 csugar

3eggs

2-1/4 call purpose flour

1 tspsoda

1/4 tspsalt

1 tspbaking powder

1/2 ccanned milk

1-1/2 cmashed ripe bananas

3/4 cchopped pecans

1 tspvanilla extract
How To Make banana cake with caramel icing

1Measure the first 8 ingredients into mixing bowl. Beat for 2 minutes on low speed. Add bananas, nuts and vanilla and beat another 2 minutes.

2pour into three 9 inch cake pans that have been lined with waxed paper and greased with shortening and flour.

3bake at 350 for 25 minutes. When done, place on rack to cool 5 minutes before turning out of pans. When completely cool, frost with Caramel Frosting. I will post my recipe.
