My grandma (Anita G.) recipe for homemade banana cake

Ingredients

1/2 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vinegar
1 cup banana's mashed
2 - eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How To Make banana cake

Step 1

blend all ingredients however take (1c milk and 1tsp vinegar) in separate bowl let stand till all other ingredients are mixed then add milk/vinegar to mix

Step 2

bake at 350 for 25-30 min or till knife comes out clean
Step 3

then top with my icing recipe called (soft creamy icing) and enjoy
