banana cake
this is just another way I have found to use up those OLD banana's that nobody want to eat. it is a very moist cake full of banana flavor

Ingredients
- CAKE
- 3/4 cup butter flavor shortening
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup mashed banana, about 2-3 bananas
- 1 cup butter milk
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- FROSTING
- 1-8 ounce cream cheese, room temperature
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/2 - mashed banana, note i have tryed to add more banana but it became to runny
- 1-3 ounce box of instant banana pudding
- 1 cup milk
How To Make banana cake

Step 1preheat oven to 350, grease 2-9" round cake pans. or 1-9x13" set aside

Step 2in mixer cream the sugars and shortening

Step 3add the eggs mix well, add the vaniila and banana's

Step 4in small bowl combine the cinnamon, soda, baking power, salt and flour

Step 5alternate the flour and butter milk into the cream mixture mix till blended.

Step 6pour into pan/pans bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes till tooth pick comes out clean when inserted into the center of the cakes/cake. cool on wire rackes

Step 7FOR THE FROSTING:

Step 8cream the room temp cream cheese, till smooth

Step 9add the vanilla and 1/2 banana

Step 10in small bowl add 1 cup milk to the box of instant pudding mix, stir till it starts to thicken.

Step 11add pudding to cream cheese mixture mix till combine.

Step 12put the froting in the refrigrater for 10 minutes

Step 13frosting the 2 9" cakes. you will only frost the center and top not the side.

Step 14because this is a cream cheese frosting, the cake does need to be stored in the refrigrater
