This is my favorite cake. My mother used to make it when I was a kid.

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter
1 cup sour milk
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 - eggs
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 - bananas, mashed

How To Make banana cake

Step 1

Cream butter and sugar.

Step 2

Add beaten eggs. Beat until fluffy.
Step 3

Add sour milk alternately with flour, baking powder and baking soda.
Step 4

Add mashed bananas and vanilla.
Step 5

Bake in greased 9 X 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
Step 6

Cool; frost with your favorite frosting.
