banana bread

My Aunt Patsy,who is an awesome cook gave me this recipe as a Banana cake ,but I bake it in a loaf pan as bread and it is delicious,very moist and flavorful. You can make it in 2 8-inch loaf pans and frost with with cream cheese frosting as the original recipe says,either way,it's delicious. The riper the bananas,the better the bread,ripe bananas make the bread moist and sweet.

Ingredients
- - 2 1/4 c sifted flour
- - 2 t. baking powder
- - 1/4 t. baking soda
- - 1/2 t. salt
- - 1/2 c soft butter or margarine
- - 1 c sugar
- - 2 eggs
- - 1/2 c chopped nuts
- - 1 1/2 t. vanilla
- - 2 t. milk
- - 1 c mashed bananas
How To Make banana bread

Step 1Combine dry ingredients. In another bowl,mix remaining ingredients.Blend in dry ingredients.Pour into greased and floured 9 in loaf pan .Bake 350 deg 45 min to 1 hour.
