Ingredients

  • 1/2 c
    butter
  • 1 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 2
    eggs
  • 3/4 c
    buttermilk
  • 2
    ripe mashed bananas
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2
    scant cups of flour
  • ·
    pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda

How to Make banana bars

Step-by-Step

  1. Cream butter sugar and eggs Add buttermilk, then the rest of the ingredients.
  2. Place mixture in a greased jelly roll pan
  3. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar
  4. add a few chopped walnuts if desired
  5. Bake 30 min at 375 degrees
