baked mixed fruit dessert
I just love this mixed fresh fruit upside down cake. This is a delicious dessert recipe my Grandma gave me years ago. I like French Vanilla ice cream served with this dessert.

Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons butter / margarine
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2 pints fresh strawberries
- 3 tablespoons grated orange rind
- 1 large orange ; peeled and sectioned
- 1/2 cup flaked coconut
- 14oz. packages orange muffin mix
How To Make baked mixed fruit dessert

Step 1Melt butter in a 9" square baking dish ; Sprinkle brown sugar over top of the melted butter.

Step 2Combine strawberries , grated orange rind and wedges , and the coconut together in a medium bowl.

Step 3Arrange fruit mixture over top of the brown sugar.

Step 4Prepare the muffin mix according to the package directions and pour over top of the fruit.

Step 5bake in pre-heated oven @ 400° for 40 minutes or until done. Serve warm.
