This is a recipe that my family has used for many years. We love it and it is a staple at all of our dinners. Also excellent to take to work or church functions. Just dress it up with some colorful fruit filling and it's ready for any party.

Ingredients
- 1 large graham cracker pie crust
- 3 - 8 oz pkgs of cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 1 - cup sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 - 4 - eggs, depending on size
How To Make baked cheesecake

Step 1Beat the softened cream cheese, vanilla, and sugar until smooth.

Step 2Add eggs and beat again until smooth.

Step 3Pour into the crumb crust and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until it doesn't jiggle or move in the center.

Step 4This is a very good basic cheesecake. You can serve plain or with fruit or pie filling. Also you can make a delicious chocolate marble cheesecake by swirling a chocolate syrup through the filling after putting in the crust and before baking. You may want to use a chocolate cookie crust when making the Chocolate Marble version. Very pretty.
