Remember that yummy coconut candy...I took a neopolitan cake idea and turned it into bacon strips.

    white cake mix
  • 1
    chocolate cake mix
  • 1
    strawberry cake mix
  • 1/2 c
    sweentened condensed milk
  • 3 c
    shredded coconut
  • 3
    eggs
  • 3
    sticks of unsalted butter

How to Make Bacon Strip Bars

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with foil sprayed with cooking spray
  2. Place chocolate cake mix, a stick of butter and an egg into a large bowl, mix until combined. Press into the bottom of prepared baking pan. Sprinkle 1 cup of coconut over the mixture
  3. Place vanilla cake mix, a stick of butter and an egg into a large bowl, mix until combined. Press over chocolate cake layer. Sprinkle 1 cup of coconut over that layer
  4. Place strawberry cake mix, a stick of butter and an egg into a large bowl, mix until combined. Press over vanilla cake layer. Sprinkle 1 cup of coconut over that layer
  5. Drizzle 1/2 cup of sweetened condensed milk and bake for 40-50 minutes
  6. Let cool completely and cut into bars.
