This is off a recipe booklet from Barcardi ,that I picked up at a store around Christmas in 1974.My brother John Pierson loved rum ball's and I made these for him every Christmas .The longer they set the better they get..Not that he ever let them set long...

Ingredients
- - 1 1/2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs(i use a good brand)about 50 cookies
- - 1/4 cup of bacardi dark rum -any good brand will do at least 80 proof
- - 8 oz ground walnuts(2 cups)-do not use pecans
- - confectioners' sugar
- - 1/4 cup of honey
How To Make bacardi rum balls

Step 1Combime all ingredients ,except powered sugar ,blend thorougly.Shape into small balls about 1 inch in diameter .Roll in the powered sugar.Store in tightly covered container.Makes about 2 1/2 dozen.
