awesome rum cake
This was a Holiday recipe that I made for a friends birthday in May. It was such a HUGE hit I make it every year for that same birthday, 10 yrs later many have used it for various occasions.

Ingredients
- 1 box butter cake mix
- 1 box instant vanilla pudding
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/2 cup water
- 4 - eggs one at a time
- 1/2 cup rum - any kind you like
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, ground - optional
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg - optional
- 1 cup coarse chopped pecans
How To Make awesome rum cake

Step 1Grease Bundt pan liberally & put pecans in bottom of pan. Mix ingredients (spices are wonderful but as stated, optional), pour over pecans.

Step 2Glaze: 1 C Confec. sugar 1 stick Butter 1/4 C water 1/4 C rum Cook on low for 5 mins, cool until it starts to thicken, spoon over cake
