awesome rum cake
Pre-heat oven to 325o Grease and flour (I like using Baker's Joy since it sprays flour and oil at once) a Bundt pan (You can use the smaller individual pans too). Put either pecan halves or pieces into the bottom of the pan.

Ingredients
- 1 box yellow or chocolate butter cake mix
- 1 box instant vanilla or chocolate pudding mix (i have used different types; it depends on you; sugar free works great)
- 1/2 cup oil & same amount of light rum or other liquor. i have had great results with jack daniels & jameson
- 4 - eggs (egg substitute works well too)
- GLAZE
- 1 cup sugar (splenda works even better as it dissolves faster)
- 1 stick butter
- 1/4 cup rum (or flavor of alcohol you used in cake if different)
- 1/4 cup water (you can use the same alcohol here too for a stronger flavor)

Step 1Beat for 2 minutes Pour into Bundt pan evenly and bake for 50-60 minutes. Make sure the cake is done by testing with a toothpick

Step 2Directions for GLAZE: Bring all to boil and cook for 2 minutes and pour immediately over cake as soon as you remove cake from oven. Cool 30 minutes then turn onto plate. You can drizzle melted chocolate over completely cooled cake or dust with powdered sugar and serve
