Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups wesson oil
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 - eggs (beaten)
  • 3 cups diced apples (uncooked)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • - sift together and add to the above
  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

How To Make auntie bev's fresh apple cake

  • Step 1
    Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes in a greased and floured 13X9X2 inch or Bundt pan.
  • Step 2
    May serve plain, drizzled with Cream Cheese Frosting diluted with a bit of milk, drizzled with Caramel Sauce, drizzled with Butterscotch Frosting diluted with a bit of milk or dust with Confectioner's Sugar. Sprinkle with chopped nuts if desired.
