This is my Aunt Ruth's recipe. I have never made it. I found it in my mother's recipe's after she passed away last year and I thought it sounded so yummy. If anyone does make this, please do let me know what you think of it!

Ingredients

  • 1 box
    white or yellow cake mix. (do not follow instructions on box)
  • 3
    eggs
  • 1/2 c
    oil
  • 1 pkg
    small box blackberry jello
  • 1/4 c
    chopped nuts (any kind)
  • 3/4 c
    blackberry wine
  • GLAZE

  • 1/4 c
    blackberry wine
  • 2 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1/2 c
    nuts (any kind)

How to Make AUNT RUTH'S BLACKBERRY WINE CAKE

Step-by-Step

  1. In a mixing bowl,combine cake mix, eggs,oil,jello,nuts and wine.
  2. With mixer, blend together on low speed until blended. Then mix on medium speed for six minutes.
  3. Pour batter into a greased tube, bundt or 9 x 13 inch pan.
  4. Bake 45 minutes at 350*
  5. Spread glaze on cool cake.
