This is my Aunt Ruth's recipe. I have never made it. I found it in my mother's recipe's after she passed away last year and I thought it sounded so yummy. If anyone does make this, please do let me know what you think of it!

Ingredients

  • 1 box white or yellow cake mix. (do not follow instructions on box)
  • 3 - eggs
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 package small box blackberry jello
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (any kind)
  • 3/4 cup blackberry wine
  • GLAZE
  • 1/4 cup blackberry wine
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup nuts (any kind)

How To Make aunt ruth's blackberry wine cake

  • Step 1
    In a mixing bowl,combine cake mix, eggs,oil,jello,nuts and wine.
  • Step 2
    With mixer, blend together on low speed until blended. Then mix on medium speed for six minutes.
  • Step 3
    Pour batter into a greased tube, bundt or 9 x 13 inch pan.
  • Step 4
    Bake 45 minutes at 350*
  • Step 5
    Spread glaze on cool cake.
