How to Make Aunt Mimi's Apple Cake
- Cream together the eggs, sugar and shortening. In a large mixing bowl combine the dry ingredients. Add the sugar mixture to the dry ingredients. Fold in the apples and nuts, combine well.
- Pour into a greased and floured 13x9 baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for an hour (or a bit more). Cake is done when a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean.
