One of the best most moist apple cakes I have had the color come sout so pretty if you use red skinned apples and leave the skins on.

    vanilla extract

    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 3 c
  • 1 c

How to Make Aunt Gloria's Apple Cake


  1. Mix the eggs, sugar, oil, and vanilla until smooth.
  2. Add the dry ingredients to the creamed ones and blend well then add the apples and nuts blend well
  3. Add 1 cup sour cream to mixture and blend
  4. Bake in a tube or bundt pan that is greased and floured at 325 for 1 hour
