Ingredients

  • 3 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup butter or subsitute
  • 6 - eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon rum flavoring
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 teaspoon orange extract
  • 1 teaspoon lemon extract
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup apricot brandy

How To Make apricot brandy pound cake

  • Step 1
    Grease and flour tube pan. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat thoroughly. Sift dry ingredients. Combine sour cream, extracts and brandy. Add alternately the flour and sour cream mixture. Pour into the prepared tube pan. Bake 70 minutes or until done and golden brown. Serves 20-24. Good also for slicing if baked in long slim loaf pans.
