This is a "really QUICK" way to make a moist and Yummy raisin bread. The Longer this sits the better it gets. Honestly. This also freezes well for Holiday Gifts.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/3 C - bisquick original
  • 3 - eggs
  • 1 C - brn sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups applesauce
  • 1/2 C - vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp - cinnamon
  • 1 tsp - pure vanilla extract ( not imitation)
  • 1 1/2 C - raisins

How To Make "applesauce raisin bread"

  • Step 1
    Beat eggs, add sugar, applesauce, oil & vanilla in mixing bowl. Beat until mixed.
  • Step 2
    Add: Bisquick, mix well. Stir in raisins, pour into oiled loaf pan.
  • Step 3
    Bake: @ 350 until top springs back when touched. (about 1 hr.)some ovens a little more. will be a nice golden brown top. NORE: This will rise a lot and the top will usually split before its done.
  • Step 4
    wrap in foil while warm. serve warm or freeze till your ready for a snack. this makes wonderful gifts.
