Ingredients
- 1/2 cup margarine or butter, softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 1/2 teaspoons nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
- 1 1/2 cups thick applesauce
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
How To Make applesauce cake

Step 1Cream margarine; gradually add sugar, creaming until light. Add eggs, beating well after each.

Step 2Add dry ingredients alternately with applesauce. Stir in raisins and nuts.

Step 3Turn into greased and floured 9x13" pan. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until tests done. Cool in pan.
