I came up with this recipe when I was trying to figure out what to do with this box of cake mix I bought by accident. But now we love it and buy it all the time. It is now our go to cookie. Yum!

1 box
spice cake mix
2 large
8 oz
cream cheese (softened)
1 stick
butter or nargarine (softened)
1 tsp
2 tsp
1/2 tsp
allspice (optional)
1 c
diced apples (your preference)
1/2 c
chopped walnuts
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1/2 c

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2Beat cream cheese and butter together until creamy. Next add the vanilla and then add eggs one at a time until mixed.
3Next add your spices (nutmeg, cinnamon and allspice) to the mixture. Using the hand mixer blend together the spice cake mix in 1/3 at a time until well mixed.
4Now fold in the apples, raisins and walnuts to batter by hand.
5Spoon batter on to a greased cookie sheet to avoid dough from sticking. Cook 10 - 13 minutes or until ends of cookie are golden brown. Let cool.
