I came up with this recipe when I was trying to figure out what to do with this box of cake mix I bought by accident. But now we love it and buy it all the time. It is now our go to cookie. Yum!

Ingredients

  • 1 box spice cake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 stick butter or nargarine (softened)
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon allspice (optional)
  • 1 cup diced apples (your preference)
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup raisins

How To Make apple spiced up and no where to go cookies

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Step 2
Beat cream cheese and butter together until creamy. Next add the vanilla and then add eggs one at a time until mixed.
  • Step 3
Next add your spices (nutmeg, cinnamon and allspice) to the mixture. Using the hand mixer blend together the spice cake mix in 1/3 at a time until well mixed.
  • Step 4
Now fold in the apples, raisins and walnuts to batter by hand.
  • Step 5
Spoon batter on to a greased cookie sheet to avoid dough from sticking. Cook 10 - 13 minutes or until ends of cookie are golden brown. Let cool.
