Ingredients

  • 1 cup unbleached ap flour
  • 3/4 cup cake flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground mace
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • 2 large brown organic eggs
  • 4 - peeled , chopped granny smith apples
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 cup pecans
  • CARMEL GLAZE
  • 1 cup heavey cream
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
  • 2 teaspoons pure organic vanilla flavor
  • 3 tablespoons meted butter

How To Make apple spice cake with carmel glaze

  • Step 1
    Center rack in center of preheated oven 350 degree. sifted flours, baking soda,salt, cinnamon,mace. Cream butter till creamy, then add sugar and eggs. beat until well blended. then add to flour mixture beat on med high for 1 min.
  • Step 2
    Fold in apples, raisins, and pecans. the batter will be thick. Bake for 1 hour and 15 mins.
  • Step 3
    Glaze over med heat mix all ingredients togather , and stir till it thickens. Pour over cooled cake.
