Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 cups apples; finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 cup chopped pecans (optional
How To Make apple pound cake

Step 1In mixing bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. With mixer at medium speed, beat together oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Gradually add flour mixture, beating until smooth. Fold in apples, pecans and raisins. Pour into greased and floured 10 inch tube pan. Bake at 325 for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
