Gramma Bea always like to bake this in the fall when people bring her apples. It is really good with some nice vanilla ice cream on it.

1 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter
1 - egg
1 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon soda
1/2 cup chopped nuts
2 1/2 cups diced apples
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons hot water

How To Make apple pie cake

Step 1

Cream sugar and butter. Mix in egg. Mix dry ingredients together in a separate bowl and add to the first mixture. Stir in nuts, apples and water. Pour into a 9" greased glass pie plate. Bake at 350 for 45 min.
