How to Make Apple Flambe
- 1Bake cake as directed for 8-inch rounds. Cool and split each layer in two. Spread pie filling, cinnamon, lemon rind between each layer.
- 2Ring outer edge with whipped topping. Saute apple slices in butter and place on top of cake. Just before serving, heat brandy and pour over apples. Flame and serve immediately!
