Ingredients
- 1 package spice cake mix
- 1 can apple pie filling
- 8 ounces frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 2 - fresh apples, sliced into rings
- - cinnamon, lemon rind shavings, butter
- 2 ounces brandy
How To Make apple flambe

Step 1Bake cake as directed for 8-inch rounds. Cool and split each layer in two. Spread pie filling, cinnamon, lemon rind between each layer.

Step 2Ring outer edge with whipped topping. Saute apple slices in butter and place on top of cake. Just before serving, heat brandy and pour over apples. Flame and serve immediately!
