This was my Mom's recipie and I have many fond memories of picking apples in our backyard from our tree trying to dodge all the bees :o)so that she could make this delicious cake. This surely is one of the best Apple cakes you'll ever have. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 3 - eggs
- 1 1/2 cups vegatable oil
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- 3 cups sliced, peeled red apples (4)
- GLAZE
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup whole milk
How To Make apple dapple cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix first three ingredients in a large bowl by hand. Add remaining ingredients and mix together well by hand. Pour into a 9 x 13 in. greased and lightly floured baking pan. Bake for 50 - 60 minutes denpending on your oven.

Step 2Remove cake from oven and using a small knife, poke holes on the top of the entire cake approx an inch apart.

Step 3Glaze: Mix all ingredients together in a small sauce pan and bring to a boil. Cook for 2 1/2 minutes and immediately pour over warm or cooled cake.
