1 1/2 cvegatable oil

2 csugar

3 cflour

1 tspsalt

1 cchopped pecans

1 tspbaking soda

2 tspcinnamon

1/4 cwhole milk

3 csliced, peeled red apples (4)

GLAZE

1 stickunsalted butter

1 csugar

1/4 cwhole milk
How to Make Apple Dapple Cake
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix first three ingredients in a large bowl by hand. Add remaining ingredients and mix together well by hand. Pour into a 9 x 13 in. greased and lightly floured baking pan. Bake for 50 - 60 minutes denpending on your oven.
- Remove cake from oven and using a small knife, poke holes on the top of the entire cake approx an inch apart.
- Glaze: Mix all ingredients together in a small sauce pan and bring to a boil. Cook for 2 1/2 minutes and immediately pour over warm or cooled cake.
