apple cobbler cake
(1 RATING)
I made this recipe during apple season one time. After making it the first time, I continue to make it for family gatherings, especially the holidays. I often get requests, especially when someone would rather not have chocolate. I would categorize it as a comfort food. It is one of my favorite recipes. Although the recipe calls for 6 large tart green apples, I usually add many more because I love apples and I mix the variety of apples. You can't add too many apples. It calls for 2 1/2 pounds, I probably use atleast 3 1/2 pounds of apples.
