Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 4 - apples, peeled, chopped small
- 3 - eggs
- 1 cup oil
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- GLAZE
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 tablespoons milk
- - chopped pecans, optional
- - you may want to double the glaze...i hadn't made this cake in some time...forgot i doubled it, but didn't this time
How To Make apple cake / caramel glaze

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Grease a Bundt or tube pan. Combine cinnamon and sugar and coat pan with mixture.

Step 2Mix apples, eggs and oil with electric mixer.

Step 3Add flour, sugar, baking soda, and cinnamon; mix well. ( batter will be thick ).

Step 4Pour into pan and bake about 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Step 5Allow cake to rest in pan for at least 10 minutes before inverting onto a cake plate.

Step 6Combine butter, brown sugar and milk in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook for 1 minute. Spoon over cake. Allow to cool before serving.
