3/4 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups white sugar
2 - eggs
1/2 cup brown sugar
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup warm coffee
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup walnuts (optional)
3 or 4 - apples cut up

How To Make apple cake

Step 1

Combine sugars, shortening, eggs. Add to dry ingredients. Pour into greased and floured oblong cake pan. Sprinkle batter with additional cinnamon and brown sugar. Bake 350 degrees for 45 min
