This is my grandma's recipe. A great dish. Good for fall weather or anytime. It's a comfort food

Ingredients For apple cake

  • 1 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 c
    cooking oil
  • 3
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 6
    apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 c
    walnuts- or any nut you like

How To Make apple cake

    Add all ingredients together beat with mixer
  • 2
    Add apples and nuts, mix by hand
  • 3
    Pour into a 13x9 pan Bake 1 hour @ 350 If you use a glass pan , bake at 325
