This is a recipe I have used for years. Got it from my mom. I have used other apple cake recipes, but not as good as this one. Very moist

2 cups sugar
1 cup oil
1 cup chopped nuts
2 1/2 cups flour
3 cups apples, grated
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 - eggs

How To Make apple cake

Step 1

Cream sugar, oil, vanilla & eggs. Add dry ingredients. Add apples and nuts. Mix well, pour into greased & floured tube pan. bake about 50 minutes at 350 degrees.

Step 2

You may also bake in a cake pan and ice with cream cheese frosting. Very good and rich
