Ingredients
- 2 large eggs or 3 medium eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cups oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 3 cups flour tortillas
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup broken nuts
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla caramels
- 1 teaspoon rum or rum flavoring
- 3 cups raw apples diced
How To Make apple cake

Step 1Beat eggs well, dradually add sugar and beat again. Pour in oil and beat until smooth. Sift together salt, soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and flour. Beat in vanilla and rum fold in apples, raisins and nuts. Bake in a greased and floured tube pan for 2 hours at 320 degrees but check after the first 1 1/2 hour to see if the cake is done. This cake keeps well wrapped in foil.
