Ingredients
- 1 box betty crocker one-step angel food cake mix (16 oz)
- 1 can canned pumpkin pie mix
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spices
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- PUMPKIN TOPPING
- 1 - 12 oz. tub of cool whip
- 1 cup canned pumpkin (plain)
- 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spices
- 1 package instant vanilla pudding (use mix dry) and gently stir all topping ingredients together.
- SUGARED PECANS
- 1/2 cup pecans, in pieces
- 1/4 cup sugar
How To Make angel pumpkin cake with sugared pecans

Step 1Heat oven to 350 deg. Spray 13 x 9 baking dish with Pam & wipe excess with paper towel.

Step 2Mix cake mix,pumpkin pie mix & pumpkin pie seasoning in large bowl, med. speed for 1 minute. Pour into prepared pan and sprinkle on nutmeg. Bake 30 - 35 min. until well set. Cool completely. Mix topping ingredients and spread topping on cooled cake, then sprinkle with 1/2 cup of sugared pecans.

Step 3To make sugared pecans, use 1/4 c. sugar in skillet, add pecans and stir until sugar becomes syrup. Watch pecans carefully or they will burn. Cool and put on pumpkin topping. YUM!
