Ingredients
- CAKE
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 20 ounces can of crushed pineapple-do not drain
- CREAM CHEESE ICING
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 stick softened margarine
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
How To Make amish pineapple cake

Step 1Grease and flour 9" X 13" cake pan.

Step 2Preheat oven to 350.

Step 3In a large bowl, mix cake ingredients by hand.

Step 4Pour into greased & floured pan.

Step 5Bake for approximately 40-45 minutes until cake is golden brown on top.

Step 6When cake is cool, top with icing.

Step 7Icing--use electric mixer to mix all ingredients for icing and spread on cool cake.

Step 8Enjoy-but it's better on the 2nd or 3rd day.
