- CAKE
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 can crushed pineapple, do not drain (20 oz)
- CREAM CHEESE ICING
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 stick margarine, softened
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
How To Make amish pineapple cake

Step 1Grease and flour a 9" X 13" cake pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients by hand: flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

Step 2In another bowl, whisk together eggs, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract.

Step 3Add the wet ingredients to the flour mixture and stir until well blended.

Step 4Stir in the pineapple.

Step 5Pour into the greased baking dish.

Step 6Bake for approximately 40-45 minutes until the cake is golden brown on top. Let cool.
