- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 - eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 cup grated coconut, divided
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup white wime worcestershire sauce
How To Make ambrosia cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350*F. Grease and lightly flour an 8" springform pan. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy; add eggs, beating well after each addition. Stir together flour and baking powder and 1/2 cup of the coconut.

Step 2Combine orange juice and White Wine Worcestershire Sauce. Add flour mixture to batter alternately with orange juice mixture. Beat until smooth. Pour into prepared cake pan and smooth top. Bake 60-70 minutes, or until toothpick inserted comes out dry. Cool in pan 5 minutes; remove collar and cool completely. Frost cake with Orange Glaze and sprinkle with remaining coconut. Top with orange slices.

Step 3Orange Glaze: In a medium mixing bowl, combine 1.5 cups confectioners' sugar, 1 Tbsp grated orange rind, 1 Tbsp White Wine Worcestershire Sauce and 1-2 Tbsp orange juice, beat until smooth.
