So moist and yummy. I got This from my husband's friend. I was leary of making it, but when I did it was so good!

Ingredients

  • 1 can cream style corn
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 - eggs
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
  • 3 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 tablespoon butter (softened)
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 cups powdered sugar

How To Make amazing corn cake

  • Step 1
    Pre heat oven to 350* Use a 9X13 greased cake pan. Bake 30-35 mins OR until done.
  • Step 2
    In Bowl, combine corn and the sugars. (both white brown)
  • Step 3
    Add the eggs 1 at a time and the oil, Beat well until blended.
  • Step 4
    Now add all the dry ingredients & Add to the batter and mix well.
  • Step 5
    Stir in raisins and nuts. Stir into batter. Mix well. Now add to mixture to the greased cake pan.
  • Step 6
    I use cream cheese frosting. You can buy it at the store or make recipe below.
  • Step 7
    CREAM CHEESE FROSTING In a bowl combine the cream cheese butter & vanilla
  • Step 8
    Beat at low speed until light.
  • Step 9
    add powdered sugar, beating until fluffy. (if necessary add tiny amounts of milk to make it spreading consistency.
