- 1/3 cup sugar

- 3/4 cup flour
- FILLING INGREDIENTS
- 24 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 3 - eggs
- 16 ounces peaches, halved and drained
- 1/4 cup amaretto

Step 1BASE: Beat margarine and sugar until light and fluffy; blend in egg.

Step 2Add flour; mix well.

Step 3Spread dough onto bottom of 9-inch springform pan; bake at 450, 10 minutes.

Step 4BODY: Combine cream cheese, sugar and flour, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer until well blended.

Step 5Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

Step 6Add peaches and liqueur; mix well.

Step 7Pour over crust; bake at 450, 10 minutes.

Step 8Reduce oven temperature to 250; continue baking 1 hour and 5 minutes.

Step 9Loosen cake from rim of pan; cool before removing rim of pan.

Step 10Chill, then garnish with toasted almond slices and additional peach slices, if desired.
