Here is an alternating icing/topping for my Oatmeal Cake.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup coconut
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 can (8 ounces) crushed pineapple, juice also
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice (not extract)
How To Make alternate oatmeal cake icing

Step 1Boil in saucepan until thickened. Spread over cake. Broil until golden brown.

Step 2NOTE: This makes enough for a 9 x 9 x 2 inch cake.
