Great for Easter! I use semi-sweet chocolate chips instead of milk chocolate chips. I also toasted almonds first before putting them on the coconut layer.

Ingredients
- 1 box chocolate cake mix with pudding
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 14 ounces coconut, shredded
- 1-1/2 cup sugar
- 1 stick butter
- 12 ounces milk chocolate chips
- 1 cup whole almonds
- 24 large marshmellows
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
How To Make almond joy cake

Step 1Bake cake according to package directions. While cake is baking combine 1 cup evaporated milk and 1 cup of sugar in saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in marshmallows until melted. Stir in coconut.

Step 2When cake is done, use a large fork to poke holes in cake. Spread coconut mixture on top of cake.

Step 3Combine 1/2 cup milk and 1-1/2 cup of sugar in saucepan. Bring to boil. Remove from head and add one stick of butter until melted. Add chocolate chips and stir until smooth.

Step 4Arrange almonds on top of coconut layer. Pour warm chocolate mixture over almond coconut layer.
