ali's devilsfood pecan cake
We were craving some last-minute cake, so i gathered together these ingredients, and i think they worked!

Ingredients
- 1 package dh devilsfood cake mix
- 1 package chocolate (i used chocolate fudge) pudding mix
- 4 - eggs
- 1/2 cup cooking oil
- 2/3 cup water
- 8 ounces sour cream
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 7-12 - pecan halves, to line bottom of pan
How To Make ali's devilsfood pecan cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350. Spray bundt pan with cooking spray.

Step 2Place the pecan halves (as many as you like) in the bottom of pan, arranged nicely - (cause that's going to be the top of the cake). Set aside.

Step 3Mix together cake and pudding mixes; add eggs, oil, sour cream and water, stirring until blended and mixing or beating until smooth. Stir in chopped nuts, mix till blended.

Step 4Pour into prepared cake pan, being careful not to disturb the sleeping pecans.

Step 5Bake at 350 for an hour (test for doneness). Cool in pan, on a rack, for 25 minutes.

Step 6Invert onto serving plate. (Hopefully your pretty pecan design will be on top.)

Step 7Let it cool before frosting or glazing. OR: serve as it is.

Step 8Keep in refrigerator...it's good cold! with milk!!
