a very christmassy fruit cake

Ingredients

• 1 cup mixed candied fruits and fruit peels, currants, sultanas, raisins
• 1 cup cup walnuts, almonds, cashews, pecans (chopped)
• 1/2 cup brandy/dark rum
• 1 cup flour
• 1 cup butter, melted
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 2 - eggs
• 1 teaspoon baking powde
• 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/4 teaspoon vanilla essence
• 1/4 teaspoon allspice, ground
• 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
• 1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
