Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter
- 3 cups sugar
- 5 - eggs
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon extract
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 7 ounces 7-up (can used diet 7-up)
How To Make 7-up pound cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 300 degrees Cream margarine, shortening and sugar.

Step 2Add lemon and vanilla extracts Add eggs one at a time

Step 3Alternate adding flour and 7-up beating after addition. Finish with 7-up.

Step 4Spray 10" tube pan with baker's joy cook at 300 degrees for 1 hour or untill it" tests done

Step 5Take whatever you cook out of oven- let it sit for 30 minutes before flipping over on a plate.
