Ingredients

  • CAKE INGREDIENTS
  • 1 box 1 (18 1/4 ounce) lemon supreme cake mix. can use yellow cake mix instead of lemon if desired.
  • 1 box 1 (3 1/2 ounce) instant pineapple pudding . can use vanilla instant pudding instead of pineapple if desired.
  • 2/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 - eggs
  • 10 ounces carbonated lemon-lime beverage
  • ICING INGREDIENTS
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 can 15 oz. crushed pineapple
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 can angel flake coconut (optional)
  • 2 - eggs
  • CAKE DIRECTIONS

How To Make 7 up cake

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Step 2
    Grease and flour 9x13 cake pan.
  • Step 3
    Empty lemon supreme cake mix and instant pineapple pudding into a large mixing bowl.
  • Step 4
    Add oil and eggs.
  • Step 5
    Beat about 2 minutes.
  • Step 6
    Add 7-Up and mix until well blended.
  • Step 7
    Pour into prepared pan.
  • Step 8
    Bake 35 to minutes or until done.
  • Step 9
    Icing directions. Prepare icing while cake is baking. Will take about 15 minutes.
  • Step 10
    Cook margarine, sugar, pineapple, flour and eggs until thick.
  • Step 11
    Add coconut and blend well.
  • Step 12
    Spread over cake while both are still warm.
  • Step 13
