Ingredients

  • CAKE INGREDIENTS

  • 1 box
    1 (18 1/4 ounce) lemon supreme cake mix. can use yellow cake mix instead of lemon if desired.
  • 1 box
    1 (3 1/2 ounce) instant pineapple pudding . can use vanilla instant pudding instead of pineapple if desired.
  • 2/3 c
    vegetable oil
  • 4
    eggs
  • 10 oz
    carbonated lemon-lime beverage
  • ICING INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 c
    margarine
  • 1 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 can(s)
    15 oz. crushed pineapple
  • 2 Tbsp
    flour
  • 1 can(s)
    angel flake coconut (optional)
  • 2
    eggs
  • CAKE DIRECTIONS

How to Make 7 Up Cake

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Grease and flour 9x13 cake pan.
  3. Empty lemon supreme cake mix and instant pineapple pudding into a large mixing bowl.
  4. Add oil and eggs.
  5. Beat about 2 minutes.
  6. Add 7-Up and mix until well blended.
  7. Pour into prepared pan.
  8. Bake 35 to minutes or until done.
  9. Icing directions.
    Prepare icing while cake is baking. Will take about 15 minutes.
  10. Cook margarine, sugar, pineapple, flour and eggs until thick.
  11. Add coconut and blend well.
  12. Spread over cake while both are still warm.
  13. Enjoy!
