This is a recipe that has been in my family since as far back as I can remember ... It is the one all of us kids asked for on holidays. So it is a family favorite!

    box of lemon supreme cake mix

    box of instant lemon pudding mix
  • 3/4
    cup of wesson oil
  • 4
    eggs
  • 1
    10 ounce 7up soda
  • FROSTING INGREDIENTS

  • 1
    stick of butter
  • 1
    large can of crushed pineapple
  • 2
    cups of sugar
  • 2
    teaspoons flour
  • 2
    teaspoons vanilla
  • 1
    pack of frozen coconut
  • 1
    cup of chopped pecans

How to Make 7 up Cake

Step-by-Step

  1. Cake
    Mix all ingredients but add the 7up last.
    Bake at 350 degrees 20 min…
    Makes 2 layers
  2. Frosting
    In a cooking pot…
    Combine, sugar, flour, and eggs. Add pineapple, butter, and vanilla… Bring to a boil and cook till thick. Remove from heat.
    Add coconut and pecans.

    Cool … Spread on cake.
