I fell in love with this cake when I requested a friend of mine at church to fix it for me. It is a personal favorite and a most requested item in my house.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/2 cup crisco, softened
  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • 5 large eggs
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup regular milk
  • 1 teaspoon butter extract
  • 1 teaspoon coconut extract
  • 1 teaspoon lemon extract
  • 1 teaspoon rum extract
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

How To Make 5 flavor pound cake

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease a 10" Bundt or tube pan and coat heavy with flour. In a large bowl, cream the butter, Crisco and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift your dry ingredients together and add to mixture, alterating with milk. Add extracts and mix well. Spoon batter into prepared pan. Bake for 1 hour and 25 minutes. Cool for 15 minutes and turn from pan.

    Six Flavor Glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar, 4 Tbsp. milk, 1 tsp. almond, butter, coconut, lemon, rum and pure vanilla extracts. Whisk until smooth. Drizzle over hot cake.
