Ingredients
- 1 pound butter
- 3 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 12 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 4 cups sifted flour (plain)
How To Make 12 egg pound cake

Step 1Cream butter thoroughly, gradually add sugar, beat until light and fluffy.

Step 2Mix baking powder with flour. Add 3 tablespoons flour mixture to butter and sugar mixture; beat well.

Step 3Add remaining flour and eggs alternately until all have been added. Add Vanilla

Step 4Bake in two 10 inch tube pans for 1 hour at 325 degrees F
