How To Make 1, 2, 3, 4 cake

• Step 1
  Sift flour, baking powder, and salt together. Cream shortening and sugar. Add beaten eggs and vanilla. Add sifted flour and milk alternately, beating well after each addition.
• Step 2
  Bake in oven at 375 degrees. Makes three layers. Put wax paper in bottom of pans. Grease sides of pan and dust with flour. Grandmother did not put a time to bake this cake, I suppose just keep an eye on it and cook until lightly browned and toothpick comes out clean.
