This is a very old recipe that has been in or family for years and years. This is a very easy cake to make , just mix it all up and bake. I use this cake for all my fruit cobbler cakes. The cake is a heavy cake and tastes so good.

Ingredients

1 cup margarine
2 cups sugar
3 cups flour
4 - eggs
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt

How To Make 1-2-3-4 cake

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl mix up all dry ingredients.

Step 2

Add all the wet ingredients and mix well.
Step 3

Pour into a greased and lightly floured 8x11x2" oblong pan.
Step 4

Bake @ 350° for 25 to 30 minutes. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean and top is golden brown.
