I grow my own blueberries and always have them on hand to make this dessert - every time that we have a pot luck church dinner this is always requested. I hope that you enjoy it as much as we do.

Ingredients

2 can(s)
apple pie filling
2 stick
melted butter
1 box
dry cake mix
1/2 c
water
2 c
fresh or frozen blueberries
1 c
walnuts

How to Make Blueberry/Apple Cobbler

Step-by-Step

  • 1in a 9 by 13 inch pyrex dish pour and spread the 2 cans apple pie filling into bottom of dish
  • 2melt 2 sticks of butter and pour over the top of the pie filling
  • 3sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over the top and then sprinkle with the 1/2 cup of water
  • 4pour the blueberries over top - if frozen berries are used, thaw them first and then sprinkle the chopped nuts on top
  • 5bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour
