I grow my own blueberries and always have them on hand to make this dessert - every time that we have a pot luck church dinner this is always requested. I hope that you enjoy it as much as we do.

Ingredients

  • 2 can(s)
    apple pie filling
  • 2 stick
    melted butter
  • 1 box
    dry cake mix
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 2 c
    fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 c
    walnuts

How to Make Blueberry/Apple Cobbler

Step-by-Step

  1. in a 9 by 13 inch pyrex dish pour and spread the 2 cans apple pie filling into bottom of dish
  2. melt 2 sticks of butter and pour over the top of the pie filling
  3. sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over the top and then sprinkle with the 1/2 cup of water
  4. pour the blueberries over top - if frozen berries are used, thaw them first and then sprinkle the chopped nuts on top
  5. bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour
