16-oz package of fresh white cheddar cheese curds (definitely regional and you can’t get them everywhere- I hear you can order online or buy at Murray’s in NYC)

2/3 cup whole milk
•
1/2 cup flour
•
3/4 tsp baking powder
•
1/4 tsp salt
•
2-4 cups corn oil for frying
